- you'll have to wait a bit longer to see the puss story to continue
the lettering for this one was the quickesf so far.
what took me quite long though was a language thing: in the englixh version, in the 3rd panel it first said 'i then got a letter' but with the second 'then' following in panel 4 i had to get rid of one. although i feel it sounded better with it. any native-speaker comments on this?
meet mr. Trouble.
note: in the 3rd frame, there are 3 (three) spikes from the hedgehog stuck in the bear's paw. in case you didnt notice. (i admit it isnt too obvious but now you know.)
till’s still ill.
heres a scene from a fever dream:
originally i didnt intend to make it puss-style but something came over me.. now my eyes feel like bleeding again from sitting in front of that damn screen.
got a cold.
sorry, crap looking comic today - even though i spent ages lettering. you wouldnt believe it, huh?
english version is the fantastic idea of joann sfar, one of my favourite comic artists ever (it is a rather german theme anyway: the crapness of the german railway customer "services")
and the layout (the connaisseur knows) is copied from leo's brilliant zwarwald
weeeell - its pretty late now - but here finally is todays post - i apologize to all who stayed up in order to see what happens
not sure how the story will continue - stay tuned!
gotta be careful not to run out of characters, huh?
ok - 5 panels in a row is too much. cant be bothered to change it now..
the text in the last panel says 'happy birthday' in case you cant read it..
but a cool way to 'read' is to zoom in (by rightclicking on it, control-click for macs) and the scroll you way through..
based on a drawing i made ages ago.. i intended to have far more clowns in there.
